Rare left-handed version of the excellent Squier Silver Series, which were made in Japan by Fender.

Playing condition is great – restored and released back into the wild. Little fret wear. Sounds awesome.

She’s been restored. Some rusty parts replaced (and included with this sale).

NECK
It’s a straightforward Japanese Squier neck with the Silver Series logo on the ball of the headstock.

On left-handed models, the serial number appears at the base of the neck.

This N serial dates her being made in 1993-94 at the Fender FujiGen factory in Japan. Very little fretwear!!

Like virtually all Silver Series models, she’s got the excellent GOTOH Japan tuners.

The neck is a C profile with a 7.25 radius. The frets are in good shape (light wear only). I’ve added an ultra-thin shim in the neck pocket to get the optimum action – and she’s set up for a comfortable low-medium action with 10-46, quality strings.

BODY
Lovely full Fender 44.5mm thickness in basswood and with a wonderful sunburst.

There’s some cosmetic wear and tear to the body, as you might expect.

Some dings and blemishes but nothing horrible.

PICKUPS

The pickups are the stock ones for a MIJ Squier Silver Series. Decent, edgy sound and plenty of oomph.

BRIDGE AND ORIGINAL PARTS
Full-thickness trem block. I’ve replaced the rusty saddles with “Fender” stamped ones.

The same with the neckplate. These items are all included with the sale – you can sell them on yourself as genuine Fender Japan parts if you want to make a few extra bucks!

JAPANESE FLAG
There’s a Japanese flag sticker on the pickguard, a badge of honour to indicate her pedigree.

The sticker is vinyl and so resistant to beer and other drinks! Can be peeled off easily if you wish.

Also included: Left-handed whammy bar, allen keys x2.

She’s a great example of a classic MIJ Fender Squier from the Fujigen factory.
