Great-looking guitar with a relic finish, Fender tuners, Fender Japan pickups and a 4-way switch.

Put together with clone parts + some great parts I had sitting around. She looks the business and sounds incredible.

Currently, she’s fine for middle or high action. You can go lower but you’ll get buzzing from the frets, so please bear this in mind. I’ll include allen keys so you can fiddle around. I’ve got a ton of guitar projects on the go and don’t have more time to spend on her.  Bills looming, so I’m after a speedy sale.

PICKUPS: These are from a Fender Telecaster made in Japan.

The 4-way switch expands her sound to another level, giving you:

Position 1 (bridge only): Normal end position for that awesome Telecaster bite.
Position 2 (bridge and neck – in parallel): Normal Telecaster balanced sound.
Position 3 (neck only): Warmer neck sound with jazzy vibes.

Position 4 (bridge and neck – in series): Extra position. Working in series, the pickups give you a bigger sound

NECK: C profile and quite a flat radius (maybe a 12). Tele-type clone (previous decal was long gone). New decal explains the guitar is a ‘partscaster’ – put together from various parts. Installed Fender tuning pegs

Please bear in mind what I said earlier about the middle/higher action – and buzzing the lower you go. When I played her on lower/middle action, the buzzing seemed to be ‘acoustic’ rather than when she was plugged in. Still, it depends on how low you go – and how hard you strum, and what your personal tolerances are, etc. Allen keys provided if you want to adjust the neck and saddles. Only bid if you are comfortable with this description.

BODY: Another clone type body. Solid wood but very lightweight indeed (and around 40mm thickness). I’ve finished her in a faded surf green kind of colour (almost Sonic blue).

She has lots of deliberate scuffs, nicks and scrapes to replicate real, natural wear over years of heavy use. The result is a old-looking, finish that’s comfortable to hold and looks great. Hard to capture in pics, but I’ve tried my best.

IMPORTANT: The finish to the body is thin and waterproof. Keep any corrosives like switch cleaner away from the finish (or cover the body before using anything like this).

OTHER FEATURES:

Minty green pickguard: Gives her a retro vibe.

Brass-style bridge saddles: A touch of class, paired with a top-loader vintage-style bridge.

Jack socket: I’ve converted the stupid ‘claw’ style  cup to an easier screw-in type.

Note: The stickers can be peeled off easily if you wish.

(There is no hard case included with this guitar.)
