A classic, relic partscaster with a roadworn vibe. Built from quality parts and set up for easy play.
Here’s her story …

NECK: This is one of those rare, amazing-quality vintage necks made at the Fender Japan factory (Fujigen) and then imported and sold in the UK years ago by Brandoni.

Some of these necks have factory stamps on the heel, some don’t. This one doesn’t, sadly.

I’ve applied a custom Axe Relics logo. Good-quality, vintage-style tuners.

Lovely feel to the neck. Truss rod at the heel. 7.25in vintage radius. Skinny frets. No notable wear to the frets.
She’s set up with 10-46 strings. Low-to-medium action for easy playing. Shim in neck pocket to get the optimal action. I’ve also set the intonation.

PICKUPS AND SOUND: Stock Fender Strat pups (from a mid-90s Fender Strat) with a 5-way switch. Classic Fender sounds. There’s some oxidation on the tops of the poles.
Pups and switch give you everything from chimey/glassy to edgy, quacky and everything in between.
BODY: Not sure of the make. Could be one of the better Squiers. Proper wood with a nice grain. Full Fender thickness.

I’ve finished her as a relic. Having primed her, I sprayed her, then added some clear coats.

The colour is a kind of faded/aged surf green. But some might argue it’s like a faded sonic blue (which has a lot of range as a colour over the years).

She has lots of deliberate scuffs, nicks and scrapes to replicate real, natural wear over years of heavy action. The result is a old-looking, finish that’s comfortable to hold and looks great. Hard to capture in pics, but I’ve tried my best.
IMPORTANT: The finish to the body is thin and waterproof. Keep any corrosives like switch cleaner away from the paint (or cover the body before using anything like this).

OTHER FEATURES: Aged-style plastic pickup covers and dials.

Fender bridge unit and saddles with a big block trem. Numbered neck plate.

OVERALL: She’s a one-off guitar. Sounds amazing with a relic vibe and quality parts – but without a hefty price tag. (Hard case not included with this guitar.)

This guitar has now been sold. Thanks for your interest.
