A real head-turner … this is a Fender Standard Mexico model that I’ve retro-fitted with gold-coloured hardware – right down to the pickguard screws. The tuners alone retail at over £100. There’s a hard case too.

NECK:

Gorgeous maple board with a C profile. She’s had a fret dress in the past year and there’s very little wear indeed.
TUNERS:

She’s fitted with an amazing set of Fender ‘F’ locking, staggered tuners with 3x tall posts and 3x shorter ones. A set of these RRP at over £100 alone.
ACTION:

I’ve cut the top nut slightly lower so you’ve got a really comfortable low-to-medium action for easy playing. You can raise the action if you play a lot of lead and string-bends, etc. She’s set up with 10-46 strings. I’ve also set the intonation.

PICKUPS: Stock Fender Strat pups with a 5-way switch, giving you the whole range of bluesy, chimey, glassy and out-of-phase positions.

BODY: She’s cream (aka “Olympic white”) and has some small chips, bumps and scuffs on her horns and edges – from playing action – but nothing horrendous.

OTHER FEATURES:

She’s got a gold-coloured anodized-style metal to complete the look.

She also comes with a (used) retro-style Fender strap. PS: If you wish, I’ll peel off my sticker on the back of the headstock (for my guitar restore hobby website Axe Relics) before shipping her.

HARD CASE: This case is essentially new – but it’s been in storage for 4 years. It’s picked up some scuffs, marks and there’s some rust on the bottom/base studs.

A tiny bit more elsewhere but the hinges, clasps and lock have little tarnishing work perfectly. Key also included.
Thanks for reading. This guitar has now been sold.
